LOVE LETTER TO OOST
A digital zine exploring my relationship with Amsterdam’s East (Oost)—my neighborhood and my muse.
Oost carries special energy: everyday poetry and characters you only meet by walking the same streets again and again. I
began by building a visual archive from within 100 meters of my home—street scenes, found details, spontaneous patterns.

Over 300 photographs later, I curated a sequence that felt like memory: honest, textured, a bit mysterious.
The images were stripped to monochrome outlines, abstracted just enough to invite interpretation. The deep pink palette emerged naturally—like a love letter, mature and unapologetic.
