Inverted Worlds
of Norbergfestibal
In the summer of 2024, I documented Norbergfestival —
a 25-year-old celebration of experimental sound and art. It’s held at the hauntingly beautiful Mimerlaven, an abandoned iron mine in Norberg, Sweden. Each July, the festival transforms this post-industrial relic into a living, breathing site of sonic exploration.
Staying true to the festival’s boundary-pushing spirit, I reimagined the documentation process itself. Through inverted colors and manipulated imagery, I aimed to reflect the eerie, surreal energy of the space and its community.
